Adam Yahiye Gadahn
In a newly released video, al Qaeda is threatening U.S. embassies.
It also threatens to attack U.S. interests at home and abroad.
What is particularly disturbing is that the al Qaeda representative on the hour-long tape is Adam Yahiye Gadahn, known in international terrorism circles as Azzam the American.
If you find this a bit treasonous you'll be happy to know that the government is a step ahead of you. Gadahn was indicted in October on treason charges. He's on the FBI's Most Wanted list and there's a $1 million reward for information leading to his apprehension.
This makes him a decidedly unique person. The last time anyone was indicted for treason was during World War II.
Gadahn was raised in California, but then moved to Pakistan after converting to Islam about a decade ago.

It's time to quit pussy-footing with these countries that support and/or give safe haven to this group and other terrorists. I am not sure what that will entail.
Or maybe it's too late? Maybe had we done something when it first started back in the shooting of Robert Kennedy by Sirhan Sirhan.
Sometimes I think we screwed ourselves under the guise of tolerance.
There we are.......... a home grown terrorist whose video demands:- In that video he issued President Bush a series of "legitimate demands" that he said must be met to avoid continuing jihad against Americans everywhere.
Those demands ranged from pulling out all soldiers from "every Muslim land," to halting support of the "enemies of Islam" and of Israel, to freeing all Muslims held in detention centers and prisons.
You know, we in the UK ask ourselves about our home grown terrorists 'what have we done wrong to make these people do this?' You know, the question should be - what is this religion that encourages its adherents to behave like this to anyone wh doesn't join their sect. I guess you can argue that there have been bloody sects in Judaism and Christianity - but neither of these main stream religions glorify death that happens whilst taking the life of a non believer who will not convert. Islam was spread by the sword, and it's followers claim that Islam is steadfast and has never changed, so I guess it's safe to assume they will continue to attempt to rule by the sword.
I do know that we have to drop the political correctness that demands that we give a fair chance to those who want to destroy us, and will in the end deny our rights and liberties. Does being fair to others mean we have to be unfair to ourselves?
