Nature is the boss
After all the rain on Saturday, the sun was shining on Sunday, but it was very windy. So Richard Jones drove 20 minutes from his home in Halifax to Prospect Bay to see the waves.
Here's his account:
"The wind gusts were in the 70MPH range, and sometimes had to turn around to breathe.
I saw the sky turn from blue ... to a Snow storm in seconds. It was so cool!
"The waves sprays were hitting 50 to 60 feet high. I'm standing up on one of the hilltops looking over the town. The sound is deeper than any kettle drum I've ever heard. It's like bombs going off."
