A penny, or a dollar, saved is a dollar earned. And no more valued is that advice than at the grocery store, where food prices have seen their largest monthly increase in nearly two decades.
Of course, this all traces back to high fuel prices. Higher transportation costs translate to higher prices at he supermarket.
No wonder a cop recently told me that food is the largest item shoplifted at the Wal*Mart in his jurisdiction.

And yet another part of our failing economy. Raising oil prices and the cost of food increasing are definately taking its toll on most of the american socitey. Perhaps the oilmen would help by donating some of their huge profits by lowering the price of oil which bares on all markets. How can this presidency and his cabinet sympathize with what we are going through when they are taking in record breaking profits. Forget their sympathy, look at their smirks. Frizzy163
Here in the UK prices have risen amazingly:
Fuel up by a massive amount, over the past 6 weeks we have seen petrol at the pumps up from 90 pence a litre to £1.24.9 pence a litre.
Butter up by 32%
Milk up by 13.5%
Bread up by 13%
Our Government tries to tell us that they have it under control! What a laugh.
