Democratic Party Seeks To Unify

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton met at Washington, DC's Mayflower Hotel with several hundred deep pocketed Democrats. To show the party love. And to help one another.

Clinton has a $20 million campaign debt she needs to retire. Obama can help her with that. Obama needs the support of those who backed her during the primaries. And her fund-raising skills.

So look for the rhetoric from here on out to be positive. There will be no discouraging or disparaging words said by one about the other. No matter what they may really be thinking following a hard fought and sometimes bitter primary campaign.

Obama hopes to meet with her husband, former Pres. Bill Clinton, upon his return from Washington, to try to smooth things out with him as well.

Hey Gary;

How much did this "unity" cost Senator Obama? At least $2300 we know of in the form of a personal check to help bay off Senator Clinton's campaign debt!

Did you see my blog entry about this? I linked my name in this comment to the post.
