Gitmo Trial Freeze Opposed

While human rights groups are trumpeting President Obama's decision to suspend trials of Guantanamo Bay detainees, not everyone is in agreement with the move.

Families of 9/11 victims who are at Gitmo to observe the trials are complaining. They want justice for the deaths of their loved ones and they believe that those held at Guantanamo are part of the same network of terrorists who are responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The family members are concerned that, if the president discards the military tribunal system for detainees that another system may not be put into place in order to try them.
