News Talk Online March 5, 2009: Health Care Reform

President Obama convened a summit of 120 people on health care reform today. Declaring that the nation, which has the world's costliest health care system, can't afford to wait for the economy to recover before reigning some of those costs in.

But how should this be done? What model should we be following?

Here in the studio to discuss today's summit on News Talk Online on Paltalk.com and to take a look at how other countries are tackling this problem is Timothy Foley, who writes on health issues for Change.org. Foley has been an online organizer and blogger on health care policy for the Obama for America campaign and currently for the Committee of Interns and Residents/SEIU Healthcare, a labor union for intern and resident doctors.

you know they need to stop raising the cost of health care for those who cannot afford it , they need to lower it down, i really hope that obama will come through and fix this issue and not make it worse , if the health care cost goes up we will lose millions and millions of ppl. they need to stop this and get it under control now not later
