More Woes For Detroit
Chrysler Corporation says in a filing with a federal bankruptcy court that it intends to close nearly 800 of its dealership. That represents 25 percent of the stores that sell its product.
It's another sign of the poor economic times - and how the auto industry is affected in particular.
The administration keeps talking about a recovery by year's end - but putting this many people out of work doesn't sound like a road to economic improvement to me.
