Do World Leaders Have The Will To Stop Iran Nukes?

French President Nicholas Sarkozy says a unilateral attack on Iran's nuclear facilities by Israel would have "disastrous" results.

President Obama, on the other hand, speaking at the close of the G8 summit, says the world won't wait forever for Iran to stop its nuclear weapons production.

But as the world leaders debate what to do about Iran, nothing's being done to stop that nation's nuclear weapons program. And the results of not acting in time would have far more disastrous results than those Sarkozy predicts should Israel act on its own.

If both Obama and Sarkozy follow through on what they appear to believe then Obama will have adopted the Bush Doctrine and will also act "unilaterally".

Unfortunately, I think the answer to your headline question is that world leaders do not have the will.
