Treatment Of Terror Suspects Not Just An Issue In The U.S.

There's been a lot of discourse here in the United States over the alleged maltreatment of terror suspects at the Guantanamo Bay detention facility and elsewhere. But the introspection doesn't begin and end in the United States.

Members of the British Parliament are calling for an investigation into the way terrorist suspects have been treated while in the hands of its government agents.

The call for an inquiry is seen by proponents as the only way to restore the public's faith into the way the government treats terrorism suspects in the wake of serious allegations of abuse - a claim the Foreign Office denies.
