Van Jones, the so-called green czar who has been criticized roundly from the right for his past far left affiliations and for more recent statements clearly unbecoming of a White House aide has resigned.
Most recently, Jones has referred to Republicans as "assholes." An organization he founded also has sought to topple Fox News Channel's Glenn Beck by pressuring advertisers to pull their commercials from the show. Beck responded with an on-air campaign of his own targeting Jones - especially for his previously avowed communist affiliation.

Nice to hear he at last did the noble thing!!!
I think, in the end, it was his signing a petition accusing the U.S. government of the 9/11 attacks which may have done him in.
The point is, the White House should have considered all this during the vetting process and did not. Hopefully, a lesson learned!
It is very disturbibg, to hear a man like Van Jones speaking in his position, with his declared attitudes. He was either asked to resign or did it on his own, for which we all can be grateful Jamie_38
Jones is a sheer radical and he isn't stable enough to suit up for any position in our Government. He stated, We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future."
Jones is the first one to bail ship.
