News Talk Online September 25, 2009: The G20 Summit

We carried President Obama's G20 summit closing news conference live from Pittsburgh and received a report from a fire department medic assigned to the summit to treat protesters suffering from pepper spray on today's News Talk Online on Paltalk.com.

As anticipated, the bulk of the news conference concentrated on today's revelation that Iran has been hiding the existence of a second uranium enrichment facility in violation of United Nations resolutions. Obama said the international community, including all the permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany are in agreement that Iran must comply with resolutions or face tough sanctions. In answer to a reporter's question, Obama said he did not rule out a military option but hoped that united pressure on Iran would result in a diplomatic solution instead.
