More Defiance From Iran

Iran now says it won't notify the International Atomic Energy Agency of construction of 10 new planned nuclear plants until six months before they are to go on line.

The country is required to notify the UN watchdog agency before construction starts - not just before they are ready to fire them up.

Iran announced on Sunday that it was going to build the plants after the IAEA censored the nation for failing to export its enriched uranium as promised. The fear is that the uranium would otherwise be used to develop nuclear weapons in violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
