More NATO Troops Going To Afghanistan
Now the United States and the UK are sending more troops to Afghanistan, 25 other NATO nations say they are sending 4,000 more troops as well.
The rest of the NATO contingency waited until after President Obama's announcement that he's shipping 30,000 more U.S. troops before making their decisions public.
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen says the troops can succeed with the right resources - an indication that Afghanistan is still a NATO mission and that NATO still stands with the United States there. In all, 43 nations have troops in Afghanistan.
