The first guest on News Talk Online on the Paltalk News Network today was Dustin Carnevale from FAIR - the Federation for American Immigration Reform - who expressed his opposition to a bill introduced by Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) to reform immigration in the United States. Carnevale argued that the bill would instead grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.
The second guest was Elizabeth Barton, a board member of the group Fathers and Families, which fights for the rights of divorced fathers. Her organization is upset that "America's Toughest Sheriff," Joe Arpaio of Arizona, has launched a highly publicized campaign to round up dead beat dads and toss them in jail. Barton says it gives the wrong impression that scofflaw fathers are the rule when - in fact - they are the exception.
