A desolate capital due to a foot-and-a-half of snow in Washington, D.C. where the mayor has declared a snow emergency.

hi there Gary, snow is snow but in a high density population it can cause real havoc. have been watching cable here and the media going bonkers since in Hazleton we just take this is stride, however with 30.000 people not to worry. I understand that now I am back in Nj where there is everything you might want including more of everything. Be safe Dear friend. I will be around possibly thru new Years, happy snowboarding ot tubing in the poconos Barbara Erb
