More than a week after the earthquake that flattened much of Haiti, cellular phone service is starting to show signs of coming back to life.
There are two cellular phone systems in Haiti. One is reporting that it's back to 70 percent capacity. The other says it's at 80 percent.
This is an important restoration because many ex-patriot Haitians are still desperately attempting to learn about the fate of loved ones there.
Meanwhile, some volunteers in Haiti are frustrated that they lack communication skills there. They say the success of the big TV networks - like CNN - to get their stories out live gives a deceptive picture of communications abilities.
