Fighting Al Qaeda Where They're At - But Not In Yemen
It's supposed to be a war on terrorism - though the insurgency in Iraq didn't exist until after the U.S. invasion. But now that it's been clearly outlined to the public that the people who want to kill us are not just headquartered in Afghanistan and Pakistan but in Yemen as well (both the alleged "underwear bomber" and Fort Hood shooter had ties to al Qaeda in Yemen), President Obama says he has "no intention" of sending troops there.
His comments came in an interview with People Magazine that will be published on Friday.
