A 57-year-old Brooklyn man returning home from Haiti has been charged in Saturday's security breach at New York's JFK Airport.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says Jules Paul Bouloute is charged with criminal trespass. They say he reentered a terminal through a door reserved for airport employees, circumventing security screening.
The breech resulted in the evacuation of the terminal which was then swept by security officers before people were allowed to return several hours later.
It was the second such breech of security at an airport run by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Previously a man entered the exit of a terminal at Newark International Airport resulting in a seven hour disruption there.
