Are the drugs we're giving our soldiers causing them to kill themselves?

I find it utterly amazing when watching a commercial for an anti-depressant on TV when the announcer says its use could cause suicidal thoughts.

The meds are supposed to make you feel less depressed, yet they can tip you over the edge to suicide?

I've never fully understood this - and neither - apparently - has the U.S. Army.

AlterNet is reporting that more soldiers are dying from suicide than from combat, and that the reason may be the over-prescribing of anti-depressants. Which is, in itself, a depressing thought.
