Should the troops come home from Afganistan?

Now that Osama bin Laden is dead, most Americans, a new poll finds, thinks it’s time for the troops to be brought home.
The question of whether the mission, now, is actually over, was the main topic of Monday’s News Talk Online. The legality of the U.S. operation in Pakistan that resulted in bin Laden’s death was also discussed.
Talk Radio News Service Washington correspondent Geoff Holtzman called in to talk about former House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s impending announcement that he will run for the Republican nomination for president. Democratic New York U.S. Senator Church Schumer’s proposal to extend the terrorist no-fly list to Amtrak and create a no-ride train list as well as President Obama’s weekend interview with 60 Minutes.
