DEMOCRATIC SENATOR PREDICTS OBAMA WILL WIPE THE DEBATE FLOOR WITH ROMNEY

New York Democratic US Sen.Kirsten Gillibrand is predicting that President Obama's record on foreign affairs will serve him well during tonight's third and final presidential debate.

She believes the American people will be convinced that he's shown tremendous leadership in getting Osama bin Laden and in the way he's prosecuted the war in Afghanistan. Also, his support for democracy in the Arab world falls in his favor, she says.

Gillibrand told me this when I interviewed her at Manhattan's Gay Men's Health Crisis center where she and other elected officials gathered to pledge support for the end of the Defense of Marriage Act, which is facing court challenges and which will end up, most likely, before the U.S. Supreme Court.
