CARNAGE CONTINUES IN NEWARK
A Cory Booker for Senate campaign sign in the foreground of a crime scene in Newark; the 10th homicide in as many days in New Jersey's largest city. And that's perhaps the tipping point for community activists I interviewed for 1010 WINS who say, while Mayor Booker is running around the state looking for votes people are dying in the neighborhoods. This latest victim, a 14-year-old boy. The family gathered, some wailing in anguish. This marks the 60th homicide this year in Newark.
