HEPATITIS OUTBREAK CLOSES BRONX RESTAURANT
The sign from the Health Department says it all. This restaurant in the Bronx, closed because of an outbreak of Hepatitis A. Four customers and one worker testing positive so far. Anyone whose eaten here recently is urged to get a vaccine. Many of the regular customers I interviewed for 1010 WINS are really concerned about their health. Some have been coming here for 35 years - ever since the New Hawaii Sea restaurant first opened. Some coming here weekly. Some even daily.
More from 1010 WINS.
