LOU REED DEAD

Lou Reed, front man for the iconic Velvet Underground, the band Rolling Stone Magazine once called the most influential rock bank in history, has died following a liver transplant at the age of 71. He's remembered at the Williamsburg Hall of Music for that influence. "He was the first person in music who ever made me want to kick over an amp," says Taylor Ross of the Florida-based southern rock band Surface to Air Missive.
