BLIND MAN WHO FELL FROM SUBWAY PLATFORM CAN KEEP HIS GUIDE DOG

Cecil Williams, the blind man whose guide dog remained by his side until they could be rescued after he fell from a subway platform thought he'd have to give up Orlando because he's being forced into retirement and he can't afford to keep him. But now he's just learned that anonymous donors have stepped forward so he can keep Orlando as a pet. He'll be training with a new guide dog after he's discharged from St. Luke's Hospital. Covering the story for 1010 WINS.
