86-YEAR-OLD MAN SHOOTS DAUGHTER & DOG BEFORE BEING SHOT BY COPS



What made him snap? That's what cops are trying to figure out. An 86-year-old man, calling 911 to report he'd shot his daughter and his dog. When cops arrived at the house in Astoria, Queens, he met them at the door with a gun and refused to drop it. They opened fire, mortally wounding him. Inside, his 65-year-old daughter was shot as was the dog. She was rushed to a hospital where she later died. The dog taken to an animal hospital for emergency treatment.
