THE MOUSE THAT BROUGHT DOWN A FAMOUS BAKERY

The sign in the window of Dominique Ansel's famous bakery in SoHo says it all. How did this happen? Well, one customer videotaped a mouse scurrying along the floor. Then posted it on YouTube. The rest is history. The Health Department coming out and shutting them down. Crews working around the clock cleaning, scrubbing, spackling and plugging holes. In the hopes of reopening Monday. Everyone who came around to try to get in to taste some of Ansel's delicious pastries says this is overkill. You can't keep mice out of buildings in New York. Especially in SoHo.
