Every time there's a crime that results in mass casualties, we turn to government for answers. Today, during my interview with Geoff Holtzman at the Talk Radio News Service in Washington, DC, I asked if the president had been briefed on the mass stabbings at a Pennsylvania high school. And what notice of this tragedy the White House is taking.
But after he answered, I asked rhetorically whether this is really an issue that's best addressed by government or are there other avenues.
We think, because we hear of all these horrible incidents, that it's worse now than it was when we were children. Or during our parents or grandparents generations. But that may be perception more than reality, I don't know.
