RICE WITHDRAWS AS RUTGER'S COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was supposed to be the commencement speaker at Rutgers. But students who called her a "war monger" occupied the administration building to try to get her dis-invited. The university refused, but Rice now says she will NOT address the graduates.

The protesters and their supporters are reveling in their victory. But not everyone on campus agrees. Some students say diverse points of view should be encouraged. Others say the protesters numbered only 50 and are not representative of the entire student body.

Then there are those - seniors - who say many of the demonstrators are underclassmen. It's none of their business. Only seniors should have a voice in this matter. And now they are left - at least of the moment - without a commencement speaker.
