NOT ALL THE ART ON MUSEUM MILE IS INSIDE THE MUSEUMS

I covered the annual Museum Mile festival for 1010 WINS. They closed off 5th Avenue for 20 blocks for what organizers say is the biggest street festival in New York. And opened the doors to nine museums lining the avenue to a no-admission fee policy. But not all the artwork was inside the museums. Sidewalk chalk was abundant - and artists of all ages were hard at work in the street.

More from 1010 WINS.
