Time to say farewell to the Bergan County, NJ Police Department

President Obama's first executive order - to close Gitmo - was and remains controversial. So too is Bergen County's new executive, Jim Tedesco's first order - to place the county police department under the command of the sheriff's department,  something the police union has opposed. Tedesco tells 1010 WINS the union has nothing to fear. No jobs are being eliminated. And the current contract remains intact. The move increases sheriff Michael Saudino's command from 152 sheriff's officers to 255.
