Mistrial in case of man charged in killing of Etan Patz
I'm in court in Manhattan, part of team coverage by 1010 WINS, in the mistrial of Pedro Hernandez, charged in the murder in 1979 of Etan Patz, who was abducted from a Manhattan street at the age of 6, spurring a nationwide movement to find missing children. The jury deadlocked 11-to-1. The one hold out saying he found the confessions to be bizarre. Other jurors, though, say Hernandez knew too many details to have not been the killer. They are urging the DA to try Hernandez again.
