FEMA doubles flood risk for NYC, city appeals

If you live in a flood prone area - do you want to know so you can purchase costly insurance to protect yourself? Or would you rather not know so your insurance rates stay low? FEMA is doubling the number of properties considered at flood risk in New York City. FEMA's Andrew Martin says they did it after Sandy. But the city is appealing with data of its own. That keeps everything status quo - until a lengthy review process is completed. A process that could take years to complete.
