Ready for Nessie

Maybe there is a Loch Ness Monster. Maybe there isn't. But if it really exists, there are those in Scotland who are ready.

It's a story I filed for Fox News Headlines 24/7 on SiriusXM 115.

The stories about the Loch Ness Monster date back to 1933. Since then, no one's ever proven its existence.

But there are those in the Scottish Highlands who are ready to protect Nessie if it is actually found.

The plan includes releasing the monster back into its watery home. The guidelines also call for taking a DNA sample from the monster.

They were drafted by the Scottish Natural Heritage, which is funded by the Scottish government.
